Apogee Central Florida
Our homeschool education center serves as an alternative to the "traditional" school model with a hands-on, student led learning environment. The families we serve share common core values, ensuring that the environment allows children to embark on their curiosity and natural love of learning.
The Apogee Moral Code We Live By
We believe defining words are vital in effective communication. In young learners, it's live by a code and our program instills these values in the children through every day interactions.
Integrity: Choosing the harder right instead of the easier wrong. Never settling for the half truth, when the whole truth can be won. Evaluating within ourselves so we may never compromise how we stay true to what is right, even in the face of adversity.
Bravery: Having the courage to defend the innocent and the vulnerable. Willingness to face your own inadequacies so that when times are hard, you're stronger from the daily decisions you've made.
Honor: Principled living, in public and in private. Choosing dignity and worthiness in all of our work.
Compassion: Having a countenance of generosity, sympathy, and forgiveness. The choice to be compassionate can change the direction of humanity. Community is vital to humanity and we choose to better our community through grace and high standards.
Politeness: An innate sense of consideration of others and respect of self. Extending politeness allows us to honor those who've come before us and inspire those who will come after us.
Honesty: Our word is our bond and it cannot be broken. In a day when contracts and handshakes are marginalized, we stand by what we say, even when it may not be the outcome we were wanting. We must remain honest to ourselves if we are ever to be honest with others.
Loyalty: Honoring ourselves, family, friends, and society by choosing to take personal responsibility in our actions and decisions. Staying true to the needs of humanity so that we may leave a better world to future generations.
The Apogee Education Emblem
The arrowhead alludes to the Native Americans unconventional approach to education - an intentional wild approach. Playing isn’t encouraged, it is required. Nature is paramount.
The dagger represents an acute, sharp approach to all things. Both the dagger and the arrowhead are a throwback to Special Operations Detachment, which are required to be the most proficient and tactically trained within the services. They are unlike all other units in that they are diplomatic warriors.
After seeing the broken education system as a K-5 teacher, Carie knows that an alternative environment is needed to better serve our community. As President of the non-profit board, she has a history of both education and behavioral therapy to advise Apogee Central Florida on how to meet the needs of the children we serve.
Resilience defines Brittany's approach to life. Full of faith, grit, and vision, Brittany rests in the foundation of Christ. Brittany's drive to accomplish anything combined with a genuine love for children means the sky is the limit in what we will accomplish together. With a unique ability to find a path forward, nothing will stop this force of nature from leaving a legacy and making generational change.

Tim’s hard work and passion have resulted in an extraordinary life. Green Beret, UFC Fighter, and Television Host are all among his career highlights, but perhaps not as personally meaningful as Husband, Father, and Patriot. Tim is a great example of being unapologetically American!
