We look at the education system that ignores a child's unique gifts and "teaches" to the norm. That's not how we were created and we knew we wanted more for our own children. With passion, we started our journey in search of an alternative to government schools, private schools designed like public "education", and wanted a homeschool environment with other children. We made the decision to not engage in the conveyor belt schools and break free. Waiting 30+ years for schools to change while failing our children isn't acceptable for us. LEARNER DRIVEN EDUCATION

Children's natural love of learning drives their education. A child best develops core curriculum of math, reading, and writing through Socratic and project based learning. Children set weekly learning goals (parents sign off) and their passions leads to success. Curiosity, not conformity.

what to expect

A one-room homeschool education center for children ages 5-12. Inspired by Marie Montessori, Socrates, and Waldorf learning styles, children learn as individuals and together. Children discover their unique talents and passions while engaging in individualized, hands-on passion projects. We spend as much time in nature as possible and have group projects where older learners help solidify what they learned by reading to the younger learners and having the opportunity to lead.

a day in the life

Our days are built into buckets of time where flexibility reigns. Gone are the days of rigid school bells used to signal your child's next action. If a child is enjoying what he or she is focused on, there's no one forcing the learner to stop. Passion leads and if a child is engrossed in a learning activity, he or she continues uninterrupted. Upon arrival, children greet each other with eye-to-eye, firm handshakes, and a heartfelt "good morning". United by the pledge of allegiance, we then dive into our unique buckets of time.
